Radio Boom Box

Hi.
There is a little hole on the front of my new cd player (the "boom box" kind) that says Audio in. I was wondering if this means I can buy a cable to plug my ipod into the stereo system. Thanks for your help!

yes. you can hook your ipod, mp3 player or any other device that has an audio out or headphone jack and play it through your stereo. note that this will not charge your ipod like the usb cables do, so a separate power/charger cord will be needed.

I am trying to hook my ipod up to 8 ohm speakers. The stereo system has no way to hook the ipod up but i was able to hook the ipod to the speakers however no amp= low volume. I know there are amps in boom boxes, but was wondering if i could take one put and use it. thx

There is an amp in the boom box. The trouble is that it isn't a separate piece with an input jack to connect it to the rest of the stuff (radio, CD player, etc.). You can "take the amp out" but you'll be left with a largish circuit board and no obvious way to connect your iPod to it.

I suggest getting a T-amp (do a web search for them).

please tell me how to solve this issue?
when i convert youtube video to mp3, they play on my dvd player but not on my cd player/boom box, please tell me what to do to be able to play on mp3 player,boom box,etc?
